DIY Bath Bombs
Lavender, Lemon, Eucalyptus Bath Bombs (Makes about 3-5)
I was inspired to make these bath bombs from this Pinterest post.
I used Lavender, Lemon and Eucalyptus essential oils. You can buy them online, or at Target, Walmart, or Michael's.
These oils are the perfect blend for stress relief, relaxation, allergies, sleep, refreshing, and soothing.
Most of these items to make the bath bombs can be found at your house, or any convenient store. Also, this recipe is usually what most bath bombs call for, however if you want a bigger batch, double this!
Directions:
1. 1 Cup of Baking Soda
2. 1/2 Cup of Citric Acid (You can use lemon juice, but it will not be as fizzy)
3. 1/2 Cup of Corn Starch
4. 3 Tbsp. Epsom Salt
5. Mix
6. 1 Tbsp. of Coconut Oil or Almond Oil.- Mix by hand. I would recommend 2 Tbsp. next time.
Then:
7. Spray Bottle of Water: spray once and mix immediately. Repeat until mixture is wet sand-like.
8. Essential Oils: 6 to 12 drops, whatever your preference is.
9. Food Coloring (Optional): 5 to 7 drops or until at color desired.
10. Add into mold.
Bath bomb molds or Christmas ornament, or any mold of your choice.
Dried Lavender (Optional)
***Citric Acid is found at Walmart by the Ball Mason Jars section. If not, order it online here.)
11. Let air dry for 24-48 hours or until fully hard; or put in fridge/freezer for a hour to 3 hours or until hard.
Then you'll have your bath bomb!
If you prefer not to use citric acid, lemon juice is the way to go and these lemon vanilla are my favorite bath bombs to make as well!
