Lost Lands Music Festival

A couple of weeks ago, I got the opportunity to get Media and Press at Lost Lands Music Festival in Thornville, Ohio. I was overwhelmed with excitement, anxiety and thrill. This was the very first year of the festival as well!! (See previous post on Lost Lands).

I got this opportunity through Red Roll, an online music and entertainment website. My boyfriend owns the site and I do social media, public relations, and articles here and there. Something bad happened everyday that resulted in something way beyond better resulting. On our way there, I was double checking that we had everything. I asked my boyfriend, "Camping is included right?" You had to purchase camping separately, and sold out, and he reassured me that camping was included with our media passes. Like every guy, "Yes of course!" He checks his phone, "Uhh...babe yeah no camping isn't included." Talk about stress 2 hours in on our 6 hour drive. Luckily we were able to get a spot in staff camping for free! 

Overall, it was such an amazing experience. I got to do live social media updates, meet some really cool people, make some great connections, and even hang out with some artists!! Aside from the perks, it was one of my favorite festivals ever. Everyone was very caring, helpful and loving.
